Training Ride to Port Orchard

So when the sun decides to come out,
So do the Riders!

The weather was Sunny &
55 degrees and it was a good day to step up our training.

A 54 mile round trip from Tacoma to Port Orchard and back sounded like a good idea.

So across the Narrows Bridge we went

It was a good ride, though there were more hills than I expected on the Cushman Trail near Gig Harbor. No one dismounted when we rode up a 10% grade over 1200 ft long!!

Even though we wanted too!

And after a couple hour ride, we arrived in Port Orchard, WA

Then it was back to Tacoma (only 27 more miles) with a quick stop at the local PD.
Overall it was a good and challenging ride.  And a good test to see where we sit in reference to finishing the 270 miles of the
Police Unity Tour!

Oh, did I mention I had another flat?

Only 57 days left until we ride in the Police Unity Tour with the Southern California Chapter!
